Letters to the Elders from Fall Rendezvous Participants

Dear Elders,

I was suposed to teach my brothers and sisters some things I have learned at Deep Wilds.

I did.

But before I tell you what I taught them, I will tell you who they are.

Kyrie is the oldest. She is 12. She is one of those preteen girls that pretends she doesn't want to get dirty, but secretly does.

Kip is 10, and he has been the most interested in it. It is most likely beacuse it is very similar to how cave men lived, and he is destined to grow up and be a cave man.

Grayson is 4. He wants to be a Knight and he carrys a wooden sword and shield with him wherever he goes. He was very interested in all this for a 4 year old, but was absolutly terrified at the thought of peeing in some bushes.

Cady is 3, she didn't belive I could make a fire with sticks, so she refused to come.

I taught them how to make a fire, how to foxwalk, stalk, and a scout run. I showed them different animal tracks and which animal they belong to. Same with scat we found. We found a deer scull, and they have secret spots. The only thing we had trouble with was shelters, but we built little ones so they got the idea.
