When you donate to Vermont Wilderness School, you are supporting quality long-term mentoring programs that truly make a difference. People will only protect and care for nature if they have intimate knowledge and relationship with the inhabitants of their own back yards whether it be wilderness or little wild pockets in the city. Vermont Wilderness School programs help people develop an intimate relationship with nature by:
- Mentoring the children directly through the Oyase Community School, the Fall Rendezvous and local programs.
- Helping our apprentices develop their mentoring skills so we may reach even more children, including children in your town.
- Supporting our regional communities in developing their own mentoring network and programs. Currently, we support communities in New Paltz, New York, Ithaca, New York, Montpelier, Vermont, and Rhode Island.
If you value the work of VWS, if you support the mission of VWS, and if programming of VWS has touched your heart and affected your life now is the time to recognize the value of our mission.
Please join with the board of directors and the staff as we each give that the school may continue this vital work with our children, in our communities and in the world. |

“I hope this small donation can help. Our daughter Jessica has enjoyed the Fall Rendezvous for the past 2 years thanks to your generous scholarship assistance. Her experience each year is a highlight. We consider it one of the most valuable chapters in her life.
Good luck and be well.

I am so happy to donate to this very meaningful and important organization. When I consider moving back to your area one of the reasons is the Vermont Wilderness School. The experiences my sons encountered during the 2 years they participated in Oyase are still with them. I know, especially for Eliott, it is profound.
Best Wishes,
Michele Turner
