What is Tracking?

The Art of Tracking allows us to connect with the world around us as our ancestors once did and as people living close to the Earth still do today. We will discover and unravel mysteries sketched on the landscape, learn to move like the animals through imitation, and begin to see through their eyes.

Students will learn how to identify animal tracks and sign on their own through a series of questions and observations. We will gain awareness of our bio-region and the interrelationships that exist on the land. We will use our six senses to explore and learn the patterns that shape not only the animal's lives, but also our own.

The Tracking Society is not currently meeting. We look forward to a time when we can once again support this activity.
